Mr. Kelly Horn, Principal
I am excited and humbled to be part of the Pablo Roybal Elementary School community. I have been in the education field for well over two decades where I have taught from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade and served for sixteen years in principalships. I earned Bachelors’ Degrees in French and Economics, a Masters Degree in Education and completed a post-graduate fellowship in Educational Leadership at Teachers College of Columbia University.
Over the years I have learned that successful schools like PRES share some common traits. We employ dedicated and passionate educators who strive to both challenge and nurture students to grow beyond their potential. We seek strong and meaningful connections with our families and local, regional and even international communities. And, most importantly, we believe that each and every child should be known, loved and encouraged to dream big. As the launchpad for students’ educational journey in the Valley, we strive to instill a strong moral compass and work ethic as well as the necessary foundation for a successful educational journey to position Pojoaque Valley students for a lifetime of wonder and success. I welcome your family to join us in this important and noble task as we pursue greatness for our entire community of learners.
