Mr. Carl Marano proudly serves as the principal of Pojoaque Valley High School. With 28 years of experience in education, Mr. Marano has served in a variety of leadership and instructional roles, including teacher, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent. Mr. Marano is a strong believer in being visible, accessible and collaborative along with building strong relationships. As a resident of the Pojoaque Valley as well as having a broad background in education and administration, Mr. Marano is committed to bringing back the excitement at PVHS while providing a climate of culture of care for all students, staff, and families.

Ms. Deena Aggad proudly serves as the Assistant Principal at Pojoaque Valley High School, where she is dedicated to fostering a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students. With experience as a middle school science teacher and Dean of Students, Ms. Aggad brings a well-rounded perspective to her leadership role. She is passionate about building strong relationships with students, families, and staff, and believes that collaboration and compassion are key to helping every student thrive. Ms. Aggad is committed to ensuring that Pojoaque Valley High School continues to be a place where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
