Throughout Ms. Vaisa's educational career, she has worked as a teacher, Title I Program Specialist, and administrator.  She considers it her most important job to build and foster relationships with you and your children, creating an atmosphere where your children will be successful.  Ms. Vaisa works collaboratively with the PVIS staff to provide a nurturing and engaging learning experience for your child.
One of the greatest characteristics of PVIS learning community is the genuine care and compassion there is to create a place where staff and families will come together to ensure that the children entrusted into our care grow to be productive, confident, compassionate members of a global society. Their goal is to ensure success and skills that will enable them to be prepared for the years to come.

Sean Jimenez has been in education for 19 years. He was a head boys basketball coach for 14 years at Rio Grande and Cleveland High School. Winning the big school state title in 2021 at Cleveland HS. Sean also worked for the UNM Lobo men’s basketball team from 1999-2006 in many different capacities from student manager to coordinator of operations under Fran Fraschilla and Ritchie McKay. Sean joined Pojoaque Valley HS last year as a PE/Weight training teacher. I am extremely excited to be named the assistant principal at the intermediate school, and I look forward to working with Ms. Vaisa, the staff, and especially the children and parents at PVIS. I am very thankful for the opportunity presented to me by Superintendent Amy Suman. I also want to thank my mentor Ms. Victoria Trujillo for hiring me last and taking me under her wings this year. Thank you to all the administration at the central office for this wonderful and exciting opportunity! Go Elks and Elkettes!
