Ben Lujan (1935 – 2012)
Mr. Lujan served in the New Mexico House of Representatives beginning in 1975, and as speaker of the House beginning in 2001. Before his entry into politics, he was an iron worker and a Los Alamos National Laboratory contractor.
Ben Ray Lujan
Ben Ray Lujan is the U.S. Representative for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District. After graduating from Pojoaque Valley he attended the University of New Mexico and received his degree from New Mexico Highlands University. Ben Ray Luján has held several public service positions. He was the Deputy State Treasurer and the Director of Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer for the New Mexico Cultural Affairs Department prior to his election to the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission.
Carl Trujillo is a Democratic member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, serving since 2013. Proud graduate of Pojoaque and a contributing member of the parks and recreation leagues within the valley. Carl was the leader in getting a new sports complex for the youth in our valley.
Craig Herrera is an Emmy-Award Winning AMS Sealed Meteorologist and Multi-Media Journalist at KGTV, ABC 10News in San Diego, CA. Formerly at KNTV, NBC Bay Area as Weekday Morning Meteorologist. Craig graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. He completed his Meteorology studies through Mississippi State University, and later earned the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval.
Mr. Edwards is President and CEO of IT Connect, a local multi-million dollar business that serves over seven states and multiple government agencies. Kareem started his company over 15 years ago with just a small business loan and overcame multiple obstacles on his way to success.
